Duke rolls past Boston College, 84-68

The Duke Blue Devils look to be back on track after an 84-68 win over the Boston College Eagles.

Nolan Smith once again took charge for Duke, scoring 28 points to go along with eight assists and three rebounds.

Seth Curry made a return to the starting lineup and chipped in 20 points, which is a season high for him.

Duke held a nine-point advantage at halftime and continued to pull away in the second half because of outstanding outside shooting. ( Read More…)

Duke rallies past Virginia, 76-60

The Duke Blue Devils overcame another sluggish start to rally past the Virginia Cavaliers in the second half, 76-60.

Trailing by six at halftime, it looked like Duke might lose back-to-back ACC games, which almost never happens.

Duke really took the game in the final 10 minutes thanks to a phenomenal effort from Nolan Smith, who scored 29 points.

Only six players scored for Duke, with Miles Plumlee failing to notch a single point. Duke’s inside game has suddenly become a significant concern. ( Read More…)

Duke rallies past Maryland, 71-64

The Duke Blue Devils rebounded from a terrible first half just in time to grab a 71-64 victory over the Maryland Terrapins.

Despite a sluggish start from Maryland, Duke couldn’t take advantage and build up a significant lead.

In fact, they played lethargic to start the second half and actually fell behind by six points in the first few minutes.

Ultimately, senior Kyle Singler and shooting guard Seth Curry stepped up late in the second half to keep Duke undefeated. ( Read More…)
